After a lengthy rain delay, the highly anticipated semifinal showdown resumed with a clinical display of power tennis, as Noskova dismantled Eala 6-2, 6-4 to secure a spot in the finals.

The weather interruption proved to be a turning point, and it was Noskova who adapted instantly. Taking full advantage of Eala’s hesitant second serves and defensive play, Noskova dictated the tempo with a barrage of powerful, pinpoint returns that left her opponent scrambling.

Following the match, a disappointed Eala pointed to the elements as a major factor in her dip in form.

“The rain heavily affected my rhythm,” Eala admitted. “The sudden drop in temperature really impacted my play.”

The heavy, damp conditions undoubtedly neutralized Eala’s usual weapons. A harder, drier surface likely would have suited her aggressive baseline game, potentially yielding the accuracy and inspiration that seemed just out of reach under the overcast skies.

Despite the tough semifinal exit, Eala leaves the tournament with her head held high. Her deeper run in the bracket was nothing short of commendable, highlighted by a pair of spectacular, giant-killing performances where she slayed two top-10 players. While Noskova moves on to play for the title, Eala has firmly signaled to the rest of the tour that she is a force to be reckoned with.
